Just got back from the Gower show. Great day but tired now.
We were up early to feed all the animals and get across to the Gower Peninsular to set up in the marquee we were sharing with others from Gower Crafts and Artisans. Socks and fleece. We bagged up 125g of various coloured fleece and sold them for £2 each. (Let me know if you would be interested in buying fleece for hand spinning or felting.) Lots to learn but worth the effort.
The day was long but rewarding and we met lots of nice people, some old friends and some people we see all the time. Very enjoyable. It is amazing how many people now know someone with alpacas or live near some.
Ingrid Batcup from Alpacas of Gower had some animals on site so it was nice to be able to point people to see the real thing after talking socks with them.
