Last night I saw some interesting behaviour from Millie. Standing watching over the fence to check the little one was feeding, Millie the mum obviously thought I was too close and wanted to move her cria away. He was cushed  down and not wanting to move, so she grabbed his tail in her mouth and pulled him up to his feet. He jumped up smartish like you would and they both moved off away from me. Not seen or heard of this before but it is fairly typical of Millie’s general mothering instinct.
