The Gower and Llwchwr Estuary Lions Club have a fun day planned for Sunday 18th July 11am-4pm. We will be taking along some of the boys to try and help attract some people to the fund-raising event.
Update
It rained all day! We had a flat tyre trying to leave home with the boys but we got there in the end. Thanks John T for helping change the wheel on the loose-box. (Hope you enjoyed the eggs.)
The boys got on very well considering this was their first outing into the big wide world. Rhys got a bit fed up towards the end and kept moaning but no one took too much notice. The young boys coped well and even got back in the loose-box without a fight.
Mike and his donkeys got stuck in the mud when it came time to leave and we were only able to help him get more ‘established’. We nearly got him out but not quite. A nice Polish couple with a big black dog lent a hand too but we could not make it until the Fun House lorry driver came over with his 4×4 and pulled Mike’s horse transporter onto more solid ground.
It certainly turned out to be a fun day in all kinds of ways! Thanks for the invite Ian.
